During high school orientation, Yuan Xian Qin falls in love with Jiang Zhi Shu. She falls in love with his looks and IQ of 200. After a two year crush, Xian Qin finally spills out her emotions in a love leter. Zhi Shu ignores the love letter, making Xian Qin feel humiliated.

Xian Qin returns home one day, finding her house destroyed by an earthquake. Since they are left without a home, she moves into a home of her father's old college buddy, Uncle Ah Li. But to Xian Qin's surprise, Uncle Ah Li's has a son, Jiang Zhi Shu.

Family tries to push Xian Qin and Zhi Shu together. Before he knows it, Zhi Shu is tutoring Xian Qin, but refuses to speak to her at school. Xian Qin studies hard to try and show Zhi Shu she isn't the dumbest girl in Taiwan, eventually warms Zhi Shu to her. The story follows their cooky relationship, and they surprise everyone with their relationship.

Itazura na Kiss

It Started with a Kiss was based of a popular Japanese Manga named Itazura na Kiss. The series was unfinished, due to the writing Kaoru Tada dieing from cerebral hemorrhage. The story is similar to It Started with a Kiss, and the story went from their high school romance, into marriage when their relationship continued to grow. The story has spawned a series of shows, including a Japanese drama, It Started with a Kiss, They Kiss Again, and a TV animation.

They Kiss Again

The sequel picks up right after the first season. They start off with their honeymoon and proceed with their married life. The story shows the couple's struggle with school and marriage life. Xian Qin is having trouble establishing a life for herself, and finds it hard to find an identity with Zhi Shu's high IQ.
