Chapter 1 : W H A T - I S - D R A M A T I C ?

Dramatic is a TCG dedicated to Asian movies, dramas, and actors. The game's idea was to use screencaps of movies and tv series from China, Japan, and Korea. But the game doesn't end at just that. We make screen caps from other countries, sets dedicated to actors, and characters.

H I S T O R Y

Dramatic was originally a TCG dedicated to Asian actors and actresses. The TCG was originally spawned by the brain of T I F F A N Y. The concept of Asian actors in a TCG was done once before (Hong Kong Studios) but the TCG was short lived, and known by very little. Tiffany told her idea to J E N N I F E R and she was super excited about the idea. Together they tried to open the TCG.

The name Dramatic was one that was truely a group effort (*^^* all dramatic sounding ne~e?) When discussing names, T I F F A N Y suggested Drama. Thinking it was too simple of a name, J E N N I F E R suggested Dramatic, since that is how the actors are. The name was fitting, and made it reconizable to people as a TCG about actors or movies.

But it became obvious that the two were not prepared to open up a card game together. So the game ended before it could open up. For awhile both had disappeared from the TCG business for awhile. Then suddenly in 2006, J E N N I F E R became active in TCGs. Missing asian movies, she opened up Dramatic. The site opened during the summer and stayed open for a short amount of time.

Then in 2007, V I C T O R I A saw someone old cards and got a hold of me, asking if I planned on reopening it. Honestly, I wasn't thinking about it. But she offered help, so I thought, why not? She hauled ass and opened it again to it current status. It has been opened ever since.
